I was working with another Realtor prior to meeting Ashleigh and in expressing my concerns that I found them to be less than accommodating to my schedule, wants, and needs, I was sent her way through the recommendation of a family friend and never turned back. We cannot say enough good things about our experience. After transitioning out of the military and relocating back to Utah from Florida, we were living in a rental with our kids that just wasn't cutting it, and we were locked into our lease through mid-August with a $5,000 lease break fee hanging over us. Finding the right home felt overwhelming, but from the start, he had a plan.He fought for us at every step. When the seller came back and tried to cut his commission in the counteroffer, we were honestly so frustrated we wanted to walk away from the deal entirely. He kept us calm, handled it professionally, and negotiated the situation to a fair resolution without us losing a home we loved over it. That alone showed us what kind of advocate we had in our corner.He got the seller to cover all of our closing costs and all repairs, including a leak that showed up right after we went under contract, which he had inspected and fixed within the first week. Plus, he and his team closed our VA loan in and put keys in our hands 3 weeks. Not 45 days... THREE WEEKS!But the detail that really blew us away? He structured the deal so our first mortgage payment wouldn't be due for two full months after closing — which meant it fell the month after our last lease payment. We never had to pay both at once. We got all of our earnest money back at closing, paid no lease break fee, and walked away from closing with money in our pocket instead of out of it.We are now in a beautiful townhome in Herriman in the most family-friendly little community, and we are already obsessed with it. There's a playhouse built into the under-the-stairs storage in the basement that our kids absolutely love, and a huge park is a 3-minute walk away.
